Costas Menegakis is proud to be the Conservative Party of Canada candidate for the riding of Richmond Hill. He was born in Montreal and resides in Richmond Hill with his wife Gail and their two children. He is a businessman and entrepreneur, and currently serves as President and CEO of a national marketing and logistics company.
Costas was elected to the House of Commons in 2011. In September 2013 he was appointed Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration in 2013. In Canada’s 41st Parliament Costas served as a member of the House of Commons Standing Committees for Citizenship and Immigration, Procedure and House Affairs, Official Languages and Government Affairs and Estimates.
Costas believes in building strong communities and has volunteered for several non-profit organizations over the past 30 years. He is a member of the Richmond Hill Board of Trade, the Rotary Club of York, the Royal Canadian Legion and the Oak Ridges Lions Club. Over the years he has received several awards including Her Majesty’s Queen Elizabeth II Gold and Diamond Jubilee Medals for his volunteer work and is a recipient of Rotary International’s Paul Harris Fellow recognition.
Costas is an ardent supporter of programs that offer services to families particularly to our youth and elderly. Canadians need a government that is focused on making life more affordable for families.
